Tsavo, which is located in the southwest of Kenya, is a sizable wilderness region that has been split into Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks. Tsavo is Kenya's largest park overall and, at 22,000 km2 (13,671 miles), one of the largest game sanctuaries in the world.
